No transcipts of GPR79 were detected by Northern blot analysis in the human frontal cortex, basal forebrain, pituitary, caudate nucleus, nucleus accumbens and hippocampus [1]. GPR79 mRNA transcripts were not detected by Northern blot analysis in rat brain, fetus, liver, spleen and adrenal gland tissue [1].
General Comments
GPR79 has been identified to be a pseudogene [1].
